Availability:

Cancellations:

​

All appointments cancelled more than 24hrs before the appointment will not be charged. Any sessions cancelled less than 24hrs before the appointment will be charged in full. If you need to cancel a session, please check whether it is possible to reschedule on the same week at a different time/ day. 

 

Payment methods and Terms:

​

Payment is made by Bank Transfer or cash. Insurance companies and institutions are sent invoices as a means of payment. 

​

Unless agreed otherwise, payment is expected either by bank transfer or cash before or during the session. Failure to receive payment will lead to sessions being paused or terminated.

Private Medical Insurance:

 

I am registered with most health insurers including: Aviva, AXA-PPP, Healix Health Services Ltd, Overland, WPA and Cigna (Please check with me if your insurer isn't listed here). I work with a restricted number of health insurance funded clients and will offer you an appointment based on the availability of my allocated PMI slots. These slots fill quickly, so please be aware that there may be a wait before an initial assessment and treatment slot can be offered to you. 

 

Most insurers expect you to follow a formal route which can include a GP referral or commonly a referral by a specialist. Usually a treatment authorisation code is required. Please check the conditions of your policy prior to arranging an initial appointment with me. Insurance excesses are paid directly to me.

Confidentiality: 

​

The service that I provide is confidential, and I will not discuss anything about you outside of the service without your explicit agreement, except in exceptional circumstances. For example, I would have a duty to inform your GP or other services if I was concerned that there was a serious risk of harm to yourself or others. Professional Memberships:

I am an accredited member of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I hold professional insurance and adhere to the codes of ethical and professional practice in line with the British Psychological Society (BPS), the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
